(The way Peter moistens his lips alongside the inquiry absolutely brings Noct to think about the heated kiss between them. It wasn't just a kiss either, he felt attraction, genuine attraction from himself and from Peter -- which, of course, could just be wishful fucking thinking.
Noct concluded it was wishful thinking, however, because of Peter's words after the fact: You'll have to kiss anyone who gets trapped under there with you.. He felt played, hurt even, because while he was absolutely lusting over Peter, the other was just using Noct to free himself from the trap. Which was why his answer was:)
